Home Grounds

We provide our academy with  facilities designed for technical excellence.  Every facility is meticulously maintained to ensure a safe and inspiring environment for our young footballers to develop their skills and reach their full potential.

OVID FC established in 2020 at the peak of the covid-19 is a football development club based in Abia State, Nigeria, established with the vision of identifying, nurturing, and promoting talented young and underprivileged footballers to compete at the highest levels of the game.

The club was founded to bridge the gap between grassroots football talent and professional opportunities by providing structured player development, technical training, scouting, mentorship and exposure to local and international football markets.

Operating in one of Africa's most talent-rich football regions, OVID FC is committed to creating pathways for gifted young players while building strategic partnerships with professional clubs seeking access to emerging football talent from Nigeria and West Africa. 

One of our life-saving supports came from Wakefield which made sure the players are looked after in the most trying times.

Management Structure

OVID FC is led by a dedicated management team with experience in football administration, player development, talent identification, business development and strategic partnerships.

The club operates through:

  • Coaching, Scouting and Youth Development Unit

  • Partnerships and International Relations Desk

This structure enables efficient talent identification, player monitoring, and collaboration with local and international football stakeholders.
