Duru Evidence: A Rising Talent Attracting Attention

At just 16 years old, OVID FC midfielder and inverted winger Duru Evidence is already attracting significant attention across Umuahia.

Known for his technical ability, creativity, and attacking intelligence, Duru’s exceptional talent quickly caught the eyes of coaches and scouts. His performances earned him a move to Right2Win SC, one of the top-flight academies in the state, while other leading academies have also shown strong interest in his development.

And now the management of Abia Warriors Youth Team have found interest in his talent and have now moved currently to the State's Youth Team and will soon make his progress into the Abia Warrior's Main Team.

Duru’s progress is a reflection of the pathway we are building at OVID FC — identifying promising young players, nurturing their abilities, and creating opportunities for them to move into stronger football environments.
